UN AIR D’APOGÉE draws its inspiration from the olfactory and artisanal heritage of the south of France, where the master glove-makers of Grasse transformed leather into exceptional objects. Scented to soften its animalic facets and reveal its full nobility, leather became a symbol of refinement and seduction.

This ancestral tradition inspired the creation of UN AIR D’APOGÉE, where art and craftsmanship blend to reach their zenith.

Both bold and subtle, this creation reinterprets the robustness of leather with modernity and delicacy, whilst celebrating excellence and innovation. True to the spirit of Maison VIOLET, it is formulated as a vegan fragrance, embodying a contemporary and respectful vision of perfumery.

Nathalie Lorson

Born in Grasse, master perfumer Nathalie Lorson is one of the most experienced perfumers of her generation. Her style is known for compositions that feel soft, rounded and sensual, with a strong sense of harmony. She also enjoys finding new ways to approach familiar materials. With Encre Noire for Lalique, for example, she gave vetiver an entirely new expression. She also created Poivre 23 for Le Labo and worked on YSL Black Opium.
