1 Ordering
1.1 How do I update my shopping cart?

If you want to delete an item from your shopping cart:

  • click on the shopping cart icon on the top right of the website.
  • select "view shopping cart"
  • adapt the quantity if you want to keep the item in your shopping cart but change the number of units and click on "update shopping cart"
  • Click on the grey cross icon next to an item if you want to remove it from your shopping cart.

1.2 Why is the price at the checkout different than the price stated in the webshop?

All prices listed in our webshop include VAT. From 1 July 2021 new VAT rules apply in the EU for e-commerce. Webshops which deliver products to private persons not liable to VAT from other EU countries must apply the VAT of the country where the goods are going, if the total of these sales on an annual basis is more than 10,000 EUR. This is the case for us.

Therefore, if you are located in an EU country other than Belgium and you order a product from us, we will automatically apply the VAT rate of your country at checkout, and this may differ from the (Belgian) VAT rate of 21% mentioned in our webshop.

1.3 Why do I have to pay for samples?

The products we offer are from small-scale, independent brands. They are produced in small batches, which means that little or no perfume is available for samples, unlike other, larger commercial brands. To give you the chance to test a perfume before ordering a bottle, we make 2ml samples ourselves. We charge a small fee to cover the cost of the perfume, the atomizer and the packaging.

When ordering a bottle, we offer a free 2ml sample of choice. You can indicate your choice in the comments field during check-out. If the requested sample is not available, we will provide an alternative.

1.4 Why are some samples more expensive than others?

For most perfumes, we charge 5 EUR for a 2ml sample. Extrait de Parfums contain a higher concentration of perfume oil and are usually only available in smaller bottles. Therefore samples of Extrait de Parfums come at 10 EUR. We also respect the prices of our suppliers and adjust our rates to the prices they ask for samples.

2 Shipping
2.1 To which countries do you ship?

We currently ship to all EU countries. Perfume is a dangerous product because it contains alcohol which makes shipping outside the EU complex. Moreover, when buying from outside the EU, on top of the selling price and VAT, you will also have to pay import duties, excise duties and handling fees. We prefer to save you such unpleasant surprises.

2.2 When will my order be shipped and delivered?

As soon as we receive your order and payment, we will prepare your package for shipping. We do this during our opening hours, from Tuesday to Saturday. We will then deliver your parcel to the post office. The post office is closed on weekends. Therefore, orders placed between Friday afternoon and Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

As soon as your parcel is prepared for dispatch, you will receive a message from us containing a tracking code. This way you can easily follow the delivery of your package. Depending on the country you live in, it takes between 1 and 10 working days to deliver your order.

2.3 Do I have to pay shipping costs?

We offer free shipping for all orders over 25 EUR. For orders below 25 EUR we charge part of the shipping costs.

2.4 Can I return a product if I am not satisfied with it?

Once you have opened the packaging of a product, we cannot take it back for hygiene reasons.

To give you the opportunity to test a perfume first, we include a small sample of the perfume with every bottle. If you don't like the fragrance, you can return your unopened, unused bottle free of charge in its original packaging. See our returns policy for more information.

3 Gift vouchers and discount codes
3.1 How do I apply my gift voucher or discount code?

On a gift voucher you will find a unique barcode.

Enter the full numerical code in the "Discount code" box found at the last step of the ordering process, and click "Apply". The discount will be calculated immediately.

Do you have another discount code? Follow the same steps: enter it in the "Discount code" box and click on "apply" to activate the code.

3.2 Can I use more than one voucher at the same time?

You can only enter one discount code per order. If you have more than one voucher, and thus multiple unique bar codes, we advice to place different orders and use a discount code per order.

Please note that the 10 EUR voucher that comes with a discovery box is valid one year and for any order from 50 EUR except discovery boxes and samples.

Gift vouchers are valid one year and for orders of at least the total value of your voucher.

3.3 When do I have to pay shipping costs?

We offer free shipping within the EU from 25 EUR. If the final amount of your purchase (after deducting your discount code or gift voucher) is less than 25 EUR, shipping costs are automatically charged.

3.4 How long is my discount coupon or gift voucher valid?

Discount vouchers and gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. You can use the voucher both in our physical store and online. If your code is no longer valid and you think it still falls within the validity period, please contact us so we can check it.

4 Influencers
4.1 Do you collaborate with influencers?

If you consider yourself an influencer and would like to collaborate with us, please contact us. If we feel your profile and reach matches our image, we will provide you with our influencer policy.

We never give away free bottles of perfume though, so if that's your expectation, you can save yourself the trouble.
