An embrace one would never want to let go of.
Bare feet strike the red earth. They kick it up, forming a brown cloud that drifts with the wind. Little by little, the cloud thins out, until it suddenly dissipates on contact with hard, cold tarmac.
Towédé has left a magical land where spirits drift amongst the trees, for a new land that scorns myths and the paranormal. A land that proclaims its modernity and rationality.
But Towédé is a force that nothing can suppress. It is a fierce gentleness, a wild tenderness. Towédé is the meeting of two worlds. They coexist, encroach upon one another, intertwine, intermingle and interpret one another. Yet a balance is struck without one giving way to the other, without one completely validating the other.
