Alone, reclining in his car, lulled by the murmur of the waves, he contemplates the wild expanse of the Atlantic. The biting cold of winter is seeping through the fogged-up windows, and the salty smell of foam is still clinging to his wetsuit, a remnant of the waves he faced the day before. Yet there's a completely different scent in the cockpit: the aromatic freshness of a lavender pocket, once slipped into his clean wetsuit, which bites the icy air with an invigorating breath.
