The Incense variety

Incense, extracted from the sacred resin of the Boswellia tree, is rooted in the arid lands of Oman, Somalia and Ethiopia, where it embodies spirituality and nobility. Nourished by extreme climates and mineral-rich soils, it grows slowly, shaped by patience and time.

Cultivated in rugged landscapes, the tree is carefully incised using ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation. From these cuts emerges a milky resin which, when exposed to air, crystallises into precious tears.

Hand-harvested once mature, incense reveals a pure and luminous material, with resinous, balsamic and subtly citrus facets. Each grain carries the memory of earth and sun, a symbol of rare craftsmanship and a millennia-old heritage, at the heart of fine perfumery and the most precious rituals.
