Story

TANIROS is the elegant expression of the creator's various areas of expertise: composing perfumes, growing roses and producing wine. The May rose combines its floral, honeyed and slightly animalistic notes with a smoky and woody contrast reminiscent of “mise en rose”, the first crucial step in making oak wine barrels.

The Rose variety

The centifolia rose, known as the May rose, flourishes in the temperate climates of Morocco and Grasse, symbolising opulence and elegance. Bathed in Mediterranean sunshine, it thrives in rich, well-drained soil. Precisely planted in autumn, it reveals its delicate petals in spring, diffusing a captivating and seductive fragrance. In Grasse, the epicentre of luxury perfume production, each rose is cultivated with meticulous care to preserve its precious essence. Harvested at dawn, with grace to capture its purest fragrance, it exemplifies refined craftsmanship and the pinnacle of luxury perfumery.

The creation is composed of a crisp green note, floral May rose and cedar.

Characteristics

• The alcohol comes exclusively from vineyard residues, such as marc and lees from winemaking.
