Founded in 2009 by Alexander Lauber, WienerBlut Fragrances is an independent perfume house from Vienna.
WienerBlut creates fragrances based on original formulas and fads of 19th century Vienna.
The first product was launched in 2009 based on the deconstruction and remodeling of so called Taschentuch-Parfums.
The term WienerBlut was coined in 1873 and describes the unique blend of archness and hedonism attributed to the Viennese.
To Wienerblut, great fragrances are like treasured secrets, giving the most pleasure to those who carry them. Their formulas are built to whisper, not to shout. Listen carefully to the stories they tell.
The love the complexity of natural raw materials, and use them generously.
The bottles are made especially for Wienerblut in a small European factory. Because of the hand finishing, each bottle will charm you with individual irregularities.
The caps are made of ivory bakelite, a material most notably used in the early nineteen hundreds. It's smooth, has a warm touch and an organic surface feel.
