An iconic art performance that took place in Copenhagen's stock exchange in 1969 lives on forever thanks to the perfume Female Christ, an unusual, herbal, earthy and slightly dirty scent with eucalyptus, patchouli and amber.
In 1969, a naked woman carrying a cross, walked through the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The performance act went under the name “Female Christ” and referred to the Biblical tale of Christ driving out the merchants from the temple. It was an anarchistic criticism to the capitalist and patriarchal culture, a world obsessed with material goods and financial power.
