OMEN is an olfactive voyage to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, where the Oracle Pythia was delivering her ambiguous prophecies in a state of divine trance. Composed by perfumer Miguel Matos under the creative direction of Manos Gerakinis, OMEN is the osmosis of the two men’s artistic sensibilities into one deep, mysterious, unexpected perfume. The fragrance sways between sunlit realism and dreamlike haze with a combination of crisp fruitiness, aromatic herbalcy, grounding woods, and ambery leather.
OMEN reflects the beauty of the Delphic landscape, incorporating treasures of Greek nature (bay leaf, saffron), as well as nods to the surrounding forest (fir balsam), the mountain breeze (musks), and the nearby sea (ambergris). Inspired by the maxim “Know Thyself” that was inscribed on the Temple, OMEN is an invitation to challenge one’s preconceptions, and explore new facets – of perfumes, and of one’s own self.
