Jardins d'Ecrivains - Baltasar del Alcazar - Eau de Parfum
The Spanish poet Baltasar del Alcázar is often overlooked by literary critics, as there are not many studies on his work. He was not famous in his time, even after his death. He died in 1606 without having published any of his poems. His most notable compositions move along the lines of the burlesque and the parodic. With his work, he embodies the Spanish Golden Age.
His memory revives in the coolness of a Mudejar patio. The scent of green oranges and mint spreads gracefully into the air. The rustle of the musky sour orange leaves heralds a radiant and distinguished Andalusian spirit.
green orange, elemi, mint, green tea, grapefruit, neroli, sour orange leaves, cedar, musk, patchouli
