Story

This perfume is an ode to the painting L'Etoile by Edgar Degas and evokes a dance, the opulence and the powdery atmosphere of a 19th-century boudoir. A provocative ballerina, suggested by the exquisite acidity of fresh raspberry, leaves in its wake romantic violets, enhanced by the contemporary note of candied mirabelle plum, evoking the warm tones of orange and ochre depicted in the upper part of the painting. 

"A composition that is both virginal and sexy. To create the dazzling universe of the Belle Époque in olfactory terms, I imagine a large, theatrical and generous bouquet, built around the rose, violets and heliotrope, as an evocation of the make-up and lipstick of that era. The woody and honey-coloured notes are reminiscent of the floor of the dance halls and the resin of the characteristic powder with which the dancers rub their ballet shoes.
