Les Fleurs de l'Art - La Fleur de Claude - Eau de Parfum
This fragrance was created to pay homage to Claude Monet's painting 'the Water Lilies'. The fruit of a dialogue between perfumers, historians and artists, this creation seeks to retranscribe the shades of blue, the poetry, and the serenity felt in front of this work.
Thus, the shades of blue are evoked by aquatic notes, like a morning dew. The pink touches are embodied in the pastel tones of freshly picked peonies. Finally, to translate the thick, shimmering clouds on the surface of the water, a tender, almost fluffy chord brings softness.
"It's a game of synesthesia, around the association of colour and smell. Thus, I translate shades of pink and blue tones to create a fresh, luminous, limpid and soothing fragrance. A bouquet of fresh, moist flowers with water-soaked petals, lulled by blond woods". Marie Schnirer, Maelstrom Perfumer.
